Alternatives 2007

Join us in St. Louis October 10-14th for the annual Alternatives Conference. The theme of this year's conference is Spanning the Recovery Movement: Consumer Control & Choice.

The Clearinghouse will be hosting the conference, and has just launched a new website to provide information about the city and all things Alternatives related: www.alternatives2007.org.

Attending or presenting at Alternatives is a great way to meet like-minded people working on peer services, transforming systems and working for human rights in mental health. If you're interested, check out the 2006 conference at www.alternatives2006.org or 2005 at http://www.power2u.org/alternatives2005/alternatives-conference.html.

Hope to see you there!

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is seeking input from the clinical research community, mental health professionals, patient advocates and individuals living with mental illnesses, private and public mental health service systems and providers, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, and other interested groups about important public mental health research questions that could be addressed using the infrastructure provided by three NIMH clinical research networks - the Bipolar Trials Network (BTN), the Depression Trials Network (DTN), and the Schizophrenia Trials Network (STN).
