Below is a letter from Laura Delano, festival organizer:

Dear friend of Mad in America,

As you may know, MIA is putting on an International Film Festival from Thursday, October 9th through Sunday, October 12th in Arlington, Massachusetts, USA.  We are hoping to spread the word far and wide to people across and beyond the United States, especially those who need time to make travel arrangements, and we are reaching out to you to help get the word out.

You will find two attachments below about MIA’s Film Fest—one, a simple flyer with basic details, and the other, a more detailed letter.  If you could find the time to forward these attachments to any relevant listserves and networks you’re connected to, as well as to any colleagues, clients, or friends who you think might be interested in attending, we would be greatly appreciative!

We are eager to bring together a broad, international audience of people committed to rethinking psychiatry along with our growing list of Festival speakers from across the United States, England, Iceland, Sweden, and Canada.  With four days of films, talks, panels, two live performances, and fun, lively social events, our Festival promises to be an informative and engaging event.  We are hoping you will help us get the word out about it.  We also hope you’ll attend!  For more information on ticketslodgingtravel, and how to support our Festival, please check out our website.

Thank you for your continued support of Mad in America, and for all the important work you do.  We hope to see you this fall in Arlington!

Best wishes,

Laura
